Hogle Zoo

 We went to the zoo with my dad and my sister-in-law Rachel. Rachel was kind enough to let us use her membership to get into the zoo!! Wish I would have bought one of those when the kids were younger and we could have gotten our use out of it!! We were at the zoo by 9:00 A.M. and it was already so hot!!

 They have displays all over the zoo right now of animals made out of Lego's! Cayden thought that was the greatest thing in the world! I think he liked the lego animals almost more than the real ones:) They had guides at each one that could tell you how many Lego's it took to make the animal and all kinds of interesting facts.

 Aunt Rachel spoiled the kids and bought them a stuffed animal from the gift shop!!

 Baby Zuri was one of the kids favorite animals!! 

Summer Getaway

Lance had to go to Boston and New Hampshire to visit some clients so we made a little getaway out of it. During the day I would wait at the hotel and then at night we would go look around. After 2 days of working we went on a 4 day cruise to St. John, Canada.

Loved this seafood restaurant!! Is only open in the summer!! Had the best Crab Rolls!!

Ended up in Salem, Massachussetts by accident! Wondered why everyone was dressed up like Witches, LOL??!!

(You drive in a bus like vehicle on the road but end up in the water for part of it). Was the only way we were going to be able to see as much as we did since I couldn't do a lot of walking:)

Getting ready to leave on Carnival Cruise to St. John, Canada

St. John, Canada was just a little tiny town that you could pretty much just walk and see everything (if you don't go when you have to wear a boot)!!

Wasn't planning on having to still wear a boot when we planned this trip!! Put a little damper on things but was still fun. One day after being on the ship for a day we were in an elevator. I had decided to not wear the boot for a little bit because I was tired of it and tired of being stared at constantly!! There were several older couples in the elevator, one of them spoke up and said, "aren't you supposed to be wearing a boot"?? Really, out of the thousands of people on the cruise ship!!  Apparently everyone knew who I was!!

 My dad came once again and helped me plant my garden (hopefully I can remember everything he tries to teach me so one day when I have to do it myself something will grow:)

Last Day of School!

Cayden told me the other day that he was sad school was ending because he LOVES going to school:) Good thing he has his summer packet to work on (not all of us are excited for that but at least he is)!!

We are all so excited it is summer!! I made it through my first year as an Instructor!! It has been a lot of work:) We will see what the new school year brings, especially since we will be moving to the new American Prep that is being built down the street.

This was Cayden's 4th season playing soccer. He loves it and keeps getting better and better every year!!
