Jr. Jazz 2012 - 2013

 This was Cayden's 2nd season playing Jr. Jazz basketball. He got into it a little more this year and you could see some improvement from last year:) It is always fun to watch!!

Carlie's 10th Birthday Continued......

 Carlie's friend birthday party had to be postponed until January (it is always hard to have a birthday party the week before Christmas when everyone is busy having Christmas parties)!! She invited a bunch of friends from school and had pizza and played lots of Minute to Win It Games!!

 Cayden didn't want to miss out on one second of fun!!

Carlie has made so many wonderful friends over the last 4 years!!

 We had breakfast with my parents and sister. This was the only picture I got for some reason.

We have had the stomach flu at our house now for the last 6 days....and it is not over yet!! Not exactly how I imagined spending our Christmas Vacation (I don't remember asking Santa for that)!! At least we got to enjoy Christmas morning:)

Buddy's Visit December 2012

 Buddy returned again this year for his yearly visit!! Cayden was more than excited! First thing every morning when he would wake up he would look for him. He could not rest until he was found, even if it took 10 - 15 minutes to find him (Buddy was more important than Phineas and Ferb that early in the morning which says a lot)!!! Here are just a few of the places he was found. His visit is almost over, only 2 more days before he has to return to the North Pole:)

Carlie's birthday always ends up being a month long celebration with it being right before Christmas!! The friday before her birthday she got to be the spotlight and took a treat to celebrate her birthday at school since she will always be on Christmas Break for her birthday:)

The night before her birthday (was also our last day of school before Winter Break) we went downtown to celebrate and stay overnight! We went to City Creek, had dinner, went swimming and then it happened (my worst nightmare)..... Cayden suddenly (without warning) started having the stomach flu!! It was HORRIBLE!! We never get sick like this! It was so bad at 2:00 A.M. we had to drive home because it was too much to deal with in a hotel room! I finally got to go to bed at 6:00 A.M. when Cayden finally was able to stop!!

It was so bitter cold we lasted outside at Temple Square for about 5 minutes!! I don't think it was even 20 degrees!

I got to sleep for about 3 hours before poor Carlie was up ready to celebrate her birthday. At least she got what she was wanting, an itouch!!

Cayden was sick all day still so Carlie and I went to her recital that night by ourselves. Luckily neither one us us was sick....yet!! Carlie had worried all day that she would be sick too and wouldn't get to go to her recital.

Carlie wanted to have this peppermint ice cream pie instead of cake. Luckily we had already celebrated her birthday earlier in the month with both families so her birthday wasn't a total bust!!

Dance Company {Recital}

 Carlie's recital happened to be on her birthday this year! Unfortunately Cayden ended up sick (starting us all off with the next 8 days of the stomach flu)!! So it just ended up being Carlie and I at her recital. This was her Hip Hop Costume (luckily this was just for the recital, not really loving the outfit)!!
