Happy Mother's Day!

Carlie has been the most excited for Mother's Day this year! She knew exactly what she wanted to get me for the last couple weeks (and was very good at keeping it a secret), a chocolate cake mix and a bag of chocolate chips!! I wanted to laugh, I guess maybe I eat too much chocolate:) We had a homecoming to go to and as those of you with kids know, it is hard to go to church twice with little kids!! Carlie was in tears when she thought we weren't going to our own ward too! Carlie was so excited to get to sing for Mother's Day with all the other kids in primary and make a craft for me in her primary class (thanks Shauna, she was so excited). It turned out to be a great day and was fun to see how excited Carlie was to make me a million cards and make it a special day:) I think it is fun to see what the kids come up with on there own. They seem to have it all figured out and I think those kinds of gifts are always the best because they don't worry about how much something costs it is just simple and comes truly from the heart:)

Just another reason you've got to love having daughters. They will always take good care of us on mothers day!

How sweet of her. I also love the true presents from kids. Hey I want you to come to my new blog, but I don't have your email address. Please send it to me or call me with it.

Happy Mother's Day (nearly a week late)!! Sounds like it was WONDERFUL (as it should be :) ). :)

Marian (my oldest) can't keep a secret yet, so she had no idea about anything. :)

I love that picture of you and your kids! It is so good! Ou should have it framed. At least Carlie sang...Jace got up there and stood by some other boys and just stood there and didn't sing a word : )
