January is such a hard month!! It is too cold to go outside and the excitement from the holidays has come and gone!! We didn't do too much but managed to have a little fun:)
We went to Classic Skating with Carlie's school (they have a night every couple months where the kids can go have a free night of fun)!!
Went to Incredible Pizza again and played all of the games this time (the favorite is Mini Bowling)!!
Drove up to Midway and checked out the amazing ice sculptures
Baked so many cookies I have lost count but I think I may have a helper now (and I need a double oven)!!:)
Finally, I had surgery the middle of the month to fix some problems caused by being blessed with a 9 lb. baby (4 years ago)!!! I became addicted to the show Cake Boss on TLC during this time!! We love that show now, I could watch it for hours and hours and hours!!:)

What do you mean you didn't do anything? You did LOTS! Those ice sculptures are amazing. Sorry you had to have surgery. Did it go well? Hopefully you had help and were able to relax. I'll have to try watching Cake Boss. I've never seen it.

You have been busy!! :) For some reason, it's the hospital that gets me addicted to shows, too (The Duggard's "19 and Counting", in my case)! haha :)

He has a new show called Kitchen Boss. I am hoping to steal his buttercream and spongecake recipes. His show makes me crave cake!!!
That is funny you would say that Danielle because everytime I watch it I crave cake too!!! It's a good thing I don't act on it though or I could be 500 lbs by now!!:)
Holey toleto!!! You guys have been busy!! Don't tell my kids - they will want to live with you guys! Glad you have had fun...sorry to hear about your surgery!
Ha I love Cake Boss too! I wish I could make cakes like that! I am glad you are feeling better!
