Who Knew?

Carlie really wanted a Hula Hoop recently! I hadn't even seen anyone with a hula hoop since I was a kid. So Lance surprised her with one when he came home from being out of town. It has been nonstop hula hooping at our house since!! We can't leave Cayden out and his new basketball! He is proud to show that off any chance he gets and he sleeps with it every night!! Who knew that two simple toys would be such prized possessions (for the moment anyway)!!:) I need to stop thinking so big, complicated and expensive when buying toys!

A Girls Dream Come True!!

A little over a week ago I went shopping with some friends, did a little more shopping and then continued to shop!! The best part was my husband let me keep it all and then asked what I was going to do with the kitchen!!!!! So I did a little more shopping!!! Anyone who knows Lance knows how he hates it when I spend money so it was much to my surprise when I basically became a shop-a-holic over a period of a couple of days and he didn't make me return one thing!!! Hobby Lobby and Tai Pan are my new best friends!! This just says one of two things, either my house really looked horrible and needed redecorating or my husband is going through a mid-life crisis and has just completely lost his mind!!! I like to tell people it is the second option!!!!:) Thanks Lance for letting me have a once in a lifetime shopping spree (and I really mean it when I say once in a lifetime, who knows when this will ever happen again)!!!!!!!

The Tooth Fairy is Coming!!!!!

Carlie lost her first tooth tonight!! It didn't come without a lot of tears!! She was worried about her tooth coming out at first and wanted to do whatever she could to keep it from coming out! After a lot of reassuring that is was a good thing for her tooth to come out and that the Tooth Fairy would come she decided it was okay. It took us about 7 hours to get the tooth to finally come out, it was so loose I thought it would be much faster!! I think I could easily wait another 5 years to experience the drama we had to go through to get to this point!!! I was looking on the internet to find a picture of what the Tooth Fairy looks like because Carlie was very concerned about that! It was harder than I thought to find a good picture. I came across a cute website though for all of you that are waiting for this fun experience for the first time, http://www.toothfairyland.com/ You can get a free letter from the Tooth Fairy with your childs name on it!! I am just glad it is out now so that she can eat and drink again (she was so worried she would swallow it)!! Hopefully the next time is a little smoother because I do not even want to think about the next time for a long time!!:)
