Getting ready for the long ride with some fellow Infinate team mates
Lance is part of a bike team through Infinate Cycle. We went to St. George for the weekend so that Lance could participate in the Zion Century. It is a 100 MILE bike ride from St. George to Zions!! The weather ended up not being very good but that didn't stop him. Lance finished in a little over 8 hours after braving the fierce winds (sometimes up to 40 miles an hour) and pouring rain over half of the ride!! There were times he didn't know if he was going to make it but he didn't give up! We are so proud of him!! Around 400 people signed up but only around 200 dared to show up due to the weather. Only about 2/3 of those people actually finished the complete 100 miles. Most riders ended up only going 65 miles instead which was one of the other options you could do.
Lance and Brad on the way back from Zions (still over 30 miles to go)!!
They finally made it!!

At the finish line (and the rain finally stopped just in time)!!
We got to enjoy the warm sunny weather on Sunday before we left! We hope we get to see green grass soon:)

Yeah Lance! That is an amazing accomplishment!! Especially in the rain, really extraordinary. St. George is great really in any weather. That grass makes me want some!!

Way to go Lance! I'm glad you got to enjoy some better weather. The grass looks so inviting!
Wow, Lance! Totally impressive. How fun to have a weekend away! :)
That doesn't sound too fun...100 miles on a bike = 1 sore bum! Sounds like you guys had fun, though!
