Day at the Farm!

Today was Carlie's last preschool fieldtrip (notice how all of the boys are in a row together and all the girls)! We went to a farm where the kids got to see all kinds of animals and go on a hayride. It was a really nice day to be outside. Cayden loved looking at all of the animals and trying to imitate the noises they were making! Carlie's favorite part was the hayride, feeding the ducks and lunch! Carlie had made sure to let me know before we went today that we had to take white bread to feed the ducks! We have been eating wheat bread and Miss Amber had talked about only bringing white bread to feed the ducks or they could get sick and so Carlie was very worried about us taking the wrong bread (I don't know if wheat bread will really make a bird sick but that is how Carlie interpreted what was said)! She always has listened to Miss Amber better than me! I need to find out her secret before preschool ends!! We had a picnic at the end and Miss Amber brought the best part, cookies! I think all of the kids ate more cookies than there actual lunches! It was a fun morning and both kids were so exhausted they both fell asleep on the ride home! This never happens where they are both asleep during the middle of the day at the same time! I am enjoying every quiet moment while it lasts!!
